Clemson Invitational Returns to The Reserve at Lake Keowee – Spring 2017

Women’s Collegiate Golf Teams from Across the U.S. are Scheduled to Compete March 30 – April 2, 2017

For the second consecutive year, Clemson University’s women’s golf team will host the Clemson Invitational at The Reserve at Lake Keowee. The Reserve at Lake Keowee’s award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course will provide the backdrop for a practice round on Thursday, March 30, followed by competitive play among participating collegiate women’s golf teams from across the country on Friday through Sunday, March 31 – April 2.  Spectators are welcome to attend, there is no cost for admission.

Seventeen women’s golf teams – up from fourteen teams in 2016 – will be participating in the 2017 Clemson Invitational at The Reserve at Lake Keowee, seven of which are ranked in the NCAA’s top 25:

“We are thrilled to be back at The Reserve at Lake Keowee for our second Clemson Invitational.  The course is ideal for a collegiate event as we’re hosting some of the top teams in the nation,” said Kelley Hester, Head Coach of Clemson Women’s Golf Team. Hester, along with Assistant Coach Heather Bowie Young, previously on the LPGA Tour, will be leading the Lady Tigers at the Clemson Invitational.

The Reserve at Lake Keowee community has pulled together more than 35 host homes and 65 volunteers as a part hosting the tournament.
